Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. The woman is Afghan American who lives in the United States. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and received the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her family raised her with two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada got her start in the field of TV through a handful of National Commercials. For the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara an appearance for which she won a film festival best actress nomination. The roles she played on television include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recent appearances included the sci-fi action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009).
